Multiwagon model
#1
Hi
Please check out my berlingo.
This is a mk 1 two door, crew cab pick up from 1996/7.
This is as long as my citroen relay van.
Has anyone got another or even ever seen one.
Thanks everyone.

WOW.

Welcome Mike.

Never seen anything like that.

Any more pictures?

That's amazing. Might become a classic one day just because of rarity.

I sometimes dream of stretching my Berlingo at two points, by having thicker (wider from front to back) B pillars, and by extending the boot. Looks like you could stow canoes lengthways in your 'boot'!

Google brings up nothing at all - except for very sparse mentions of a 2020 Berlingo Multiwagon - a very different thing.

Googling just 'Berlingo pickup' (i.e. no crew cab) reveals quite a few pictures, but the cargo section always begins immediately behind the doors - https://www.google.com/search?source=uni...=775&dpr=1.

Having that lengthened body makes it possibly unique. Even a bog-standard Berlingo of that age is pretty rare - carlogbook.co.uk says there are only 6 Berlingos on UK roads that were registered in 1996, and 108 that were registered in 1997.

I wonder if it was a concept model for display, didn't go into production, but the model was sold off?

So yeah, concept that never got mass produced it would appear.

Saw your pick up in the flesh earlier this week was very intrigued and that's what brought me here.
Take care of it, you have something quite special there!
