2015 Van Bluetooth issue
#1
Smile
Hi Guys,

I am having an issue with the bluetooth in my van. The phone connects fine then once the van is turned off and started again the bluetooth has disconnected. I have tried pairing/unpairing...deleting from both the phone and van with no luck. Can anyone shed some light on if I am missing something. I have spoken to my local dealer and they wanted around £150 just to look at it! Is there an update I can find somewhere I can download on to a usb and plug in to the van?

Thanks in advance

Have you checked to see how many BT devices are in the van's memory? I seem to remember that it can only accept four and any more suffer the symptoms you are having. We had this recently as #son had added his phone to the van whilst he was home from the States for a few weeks but didn't remove it when he went back.

Hi Pedronicus,

Thank you for the response. I haven’t checked in a while but I think it was clear, I will double check??

You may have to set the van bluetooth as a trusted device on your phone, and allow auto-pairing when in range. (again, on the phone)

If you start the van, then go into the phone settings connections > bluetooth > devices > and on clicking the van, it connects straight away, then the phone settings for the van bluetooth in the phone, is the issue most likely, not the van itself.
