I'm back again, can't leave it alone!

I've had nearly 3 years of trouble free motoring in a Honda jazz and then it died. No problem there's 4 Berlingos in various stages of decay in the barn. I chose my beloveds favourite, that she bought 18 years ago and in which we "stealth camped" all over Europe. Mk1 full electric soft top multispace. It was a 2CV replacement. 
Surprisingly it started first time, though it is very rough on tick over. Now to remember why it went into storage and get it through MoT. I predict I'll be a regular on here again

Well... To my embarrassment, shame and relief that he noticed, the MoT man spotted the rear axle was loose. That'll be me not tightening it up when I swapped it then! Wasn't expecting that, all the odd knocking sounds come from the front which turns out to be OK. The other fails were brake fluid leak and a bulb. Easy fix once I'd found long T50. Ended up replacing pipe and flexible hose from rear brake compensator to drum.
Now my concern is the power steering fluid leak particularly since I've read here that the alternator will surely die as a result. I'll tge PAS problem elsewhere.... Thanks for reading my ramblings to the end
