Another newbie

Hi all, another new member here. Picked up a 2017 'flair' recently and have already spent too much time looking at old posts for answers to various things ;-)
My list of 'questions with no answers' is reducing all the time, but there are still a few left (like: why the heck is there no apparent way to pause MP3 playback on the touchscreen system??).
I am now falling down the rabbit hole that is boot jumps - looking at all the various options including the excellent thread from a few years ago where someone documented their own build. Not sure where I'm going with that yet...

Try pressing the up and down volume buttons on the audio column control at the same time...this acts as "mute" for radio and maybe "pause" for MP3 files. I had the conventional unit where it worked when needed, as generally mute is used as pause on CD and MP3 inputs for PSA head units IMHO.

I was aware of this feature, and was convinced when I tested it out initially, that it did NOT pause playback.... Obviously when I checked it again earlier today, it DOES pause playback... sigh.
