Android Auto wirelessly

Have a 2019 Berlingo and wondering if it's possible to use Android Auto or something similar without USB? I only really want to be able to use Spotify and select playlists from the screen. Already have built on sat nav so don't need my phone for that. 

I know I can stream from my phone to the car via Bluetooth but can't see or select playlists from the screen that way. Also when playing via Bluetooth, after a few songs it stops until I unlock the phone and press play on the phone. Not ideal while driving.


USB is fine for longer journeys but a bit of a pain for frequent short journeys when you're in and out the car several times a day. I noticed a WIFI option on the car but can't see a sim card slot anywhere.

Looked at this the other day, but thought the car had to be able to run android auto.
As my head unit does Apple car play, and the pointless mirror link.
So does it work on the normal factory fitted berlingo screen ?

I have the standard RCC (non-nav) LCD. If your screen runs Android Auto with a cable then the dongle works.
