[Engine] Air Filter Box Screws Removal

Hi, Does anyone know how to get rusty screws out of the air filter box as you try to unscrew them the head just break as they are so rusty and how would I replace the screws?
I would be most grateful for any suggestions.

If there is a suitable flat 'lip' on the main casing then you might be able to use self-tappers to secure the cover. It possibly wouldn't be that easy a job to remove the rusty remains and re-tap the holes.
Or maybe use over-centre clips to secure the lid?
