Remote central locking problem

I have a problem with the remote locking on my 2006 M59 berlingo 
It will lock from the key fob ok but will not unlock from the key fob
it will unlock with the key ok
when I try to unlock from the remote all that happens is the indicators flash as they should

Does the whole van unlock when you put the key in the door (side doors, tailgate etc), or just the door you are putting the key into?

If the central locking doesn't work or just locks, it's mostly likely a relay on the BSI computer unit. There's a hatch in the passenger side cabin to access it. See the threads jj9 linked above for more info and also:

FYI I found this job an arse ache. But the specialist won't touch the BSI unit so I was on my own...
