Hi guys new to having a berlingo (just picked up an 08 plate 1.6hdi forte, believe that's a MK1!) , got some issues that I'm looking for answers to so hope this is the place to find the help!

Lots of threads to look through so will have a look around first. Thanks

08 plate?
You can easilytell if it's an M49 or M59 by looking at the headlights.
The M49 has low, wide lights, while the M59 has tall ones.

You got the right engine at least. The 1.6HDI is supposedly the ticket. Possibly even better than the 1.4i

M49 are the earlier Berlingo
M59 are the next gen Berlingo
B9 the next
forget the latest type number but yours won't be that

Anyway just google search images for each type to find yours, probably M59 ?

Once found when you post on issues you'll know the correct section to post in for the most appropriate replies.
