Drivers seat
#1
Hello all, just got my first van. It’s a 2001 y reg Berlingo … it’s a complete wreck , it was my mates who’s a bricky . I am retiring soon so it’s a little project.
Rather than scrapping it having a go to fix it up. Only done 80k so on that side ok. None of the locks work, but biggest issue is the drivers seat is totally broken .
Got the seat out but I am struggling to find a replacement .  Any recommendations, I have done the obvious, e bay , Google search .  Just looking to pick one up local Stockport ..

Regards Duncan and thanks in advance . Hopefully I get keep her on the road

Welcome & good luck with the project.
I've always had to travel to get Berlingo seats, never seen one locally to me in Lincolnshire but would think there would be a few in breaker's in the greater Manchester area.
2001 would be a M49 version & am not sure if the slightly later M59 seats will fit.

I have got the seat out , and going to mate to weld up . It’s broke in 3 places . My mate was a complete animal and breaks everything. Springs gone underneath and the base foam . Still not giving up on it .

I wonder if the saxo seats fit the M49? Or Xsara. Probably both pretty rare now anyway.
