My friend has a M59 Berlingo with TowBar fitted. Just out of curiosity would the TowBar if removed fit the newer shape Berlingo.
It's a B9 2016 Multispce 1.6 HDI ?
Thanks

No, they are built on completely dofferent designed bodyshells. i have fitted towbars on both, the B9 is a much bigger vehicle.

The van ones are exactly the same as the multispace but double check it's for an L1 van and not the L2 as it will be half a metre too long .
I went for a new Witter
Perfect fit
Certified design
Nice new high tensile bolts.......
Worth the money.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

I bought an Anchor one from Ebay for our B9, as said before just make sure it is for an L1.
They are one of the easiest towbars that I have fitted
I also used s bypass electric kit for the 7 pin socket, quite straightforward to wire up

Thanks for all the replies. Very informative. I went on to the eBay link, but that appears to be the L2 Van. I'm guessing I'm looking for the L1 ?

I had a Westfalia detachable swan-neck bar, with dedicated wiring kit fitted to mine. Costs a bunch more than DIY/fixed bar - but I wanted it done professionally and with the dedicated wiring kit rather than bypass relays etc. (included recoding so the car knows when a trailer is plugged in etc).
I'm sure you've already googled - there are plenty of options for supply/fitting including towsure, pfjones etc. I used a local(ish - north Wales) mobile specialist
Cheers.
