Well...
Not posted for a while...
Despite the fact my 2.0HDI Berlingo van has stood for about 9 years it started foirst time after sorting the injector seals...
but then it was left at my mates yard since August last year....
Stared up a couple of time to move it about....
I have been able to move it indoors to work on...
Why New Hybrid...
Well... it has been moved in and out and put on and off axle stands for a while....
Always starting first turn...
I will do all the belts and give it a full service eventually but a stuck air filter box prooved hard to get out...
When it did....
It revealed a home from home.....
a small furry creature had made it's home in the air box while sat at my mates yard.....
and given that it had nibbled through the filter itself one has to assume that some of his bed was drawn in through the turbo and burnt in the engine.....
So as the van has had no ill effects I am going to suggest to the Environmental think tanks that cars have a secondary storage for dry lawn clippings that can be fed into the engine like a pellet feeed boiler...
However this may result in Lawn rustling and you may wake up to find you front lawn clipped in the middle of the night....
