Roof bars

We have given our B9 to one of our sons who has taken off the roof rails to have a full length roof rack fitted as he is using it for his work

I thought that I would like to fit the rails to our new car which is a K9 (actually a Combo Life).  Surprise surprise the mounting holes on the K9 are about 50mm closer together than the B9 in spite of the car beeing slightly longer.

I managed to dismantle the rails and shorten them by the required amount and fit them so it is a result.

Hi Peter
Handy to know I notiec the same and am going to chop the B9 bars down to fit my 21 reg Partner ... which end did you chop down ?
