[Warning Light] Mileage countdown to non-start
#1
1.6 Hdi blue 120 - 2016

I have an ongoing adblue issue, but looks like the problem is now solved.

The mileage countdown to non-starting is still running, does anyone know if this can be reset/cleared
using Diagbox? I have V7.83.

I also have V9.91 but have not yet installed it on a laptop.

Thanks....

yes, should be possible to clear it using 7.83.

May have to use the replacement parts menu and tell the ECU you fitted a new DPF or new PAT Fluid Pouch or both. Don't install 9.91 as the options for this kind of thing (changing options & coding) have gone from it, it all went online to Citroen by then and your bootleg version will not be able to connect for authorisation.

Maybe you only need to refill with adblue and after some km's the message will disappear.

If it wasn't due to the mileage hitting or exceeding 100k miles, then perhaps, otherwise the DPF will be getting flagged due to expected life span being reached. Once that happens, you cannot clear it by filling with adblue. "Risk of Clogging" etc

Thanks for the advise it was very helpful.
I'm still finding my way around Diagbox, it's not very intuitive to say the least.

Problem is now solved, warning triangle, flashing urea lamp and countdown warning are off...at last. Only done 17,000 miles and have spent a few months trying to sort it out.
Citroen garage replaced the cat on a goodwill warranty but seemed unable to fix the adblue issue and blamed the wiring!

I did as you advised and went through the replacement parts menu;

Refilled eolys tank, new denox sensor and filled adblue level, it went through the 'pairing/update' process a few times where you have to turn ignition off for 15 - 30 secs and then on again. Eventually reset the lights. Hopefully no more problems.

My car is a 2016 model, it has a refillable eolys tank and separate a adblue tanks with a filler cap next to the fuel. Pretty crap system in my opinion, looks like someone just found a load of parts and chucked them together.

Excellent news, good stuff. That should be it now, have to agree the dual system on the overlap years seems daft huh.

Why not just refill the DPF fluid, not Adblue,  reservoir which is a box just under the car behind the drivers door. Once refilled it can reprogrammed. However it is likely that once refilled and reprogrammed to tell the car it is full you will get a triangle warning and error code that there is a low pressure error. Simply reprogram to tell the car it has a new box fitted. Problem sorted.

Did you not read his last post? That's exactly what he did.
