How many miles has it done? The full Eolys tank lasts 100k miles plus from new, before needing filled.
If you stick a tenner in here and there instead of filling up the tank, it will eat Eolys up, well before it should do.
I'd be skeptical on what they say and their keenness to honour the warranty for something they say you don't need anyway..let's see how it ends up. Keep us posted.

Somewhere over 112000 miles on the clock, and never been filled before. It's a company me and my old man have used for many years, so I have a little more trust in what they say than I would a company I hadn't used before. Why would they want to risk losing a pair of loyal customers? I'll possibly get the fuel cap off and replaced to check before I leave. I fill up anywhere between the needle being half and empty.
I think it was me who brought up about the tank replacement rather than them.

Old post I know but most of times it's just adblue injector blocked which then causes other problems. Clean it regularly like at least every service and use the anti crystallisation additive in the adblue tank.

Eolys and the DPF additive system is nothing to do with Adblue.
Adblue is Urea injected into the cat as a pre-catalyst to remove NOx from the gas stream. Eolys is Cerium Oxide, used to make the soot sticky so it is better caught in the DPF mesh filter - the two systems have zero connection and have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Eolys is injected into the fuel tank, Adblue is sprayed down the exhaust into the cat.

This is supposed to be K9 vehicles which doesn't have the eolys tank somehow it got hijacked by b9 owner's with adblue and eolys tank which is a different engine completely.

Ok. And you are posting into the quote box when replying which makes the post confusing to read. Try typing below the box when you reply or quote a previous post, that way your reply is separate from the text you are responding to.

Wynns crystal clear additive is supposed to prevent the crystals in the adblue tank blocking the injector nozzle. This is caused by low mileage etc, or the adblue is old and starting to break down
Amazon has it about £10 a bottle.

I had a different experience with this Wynns additive. Namely, after 100,000 km, I used this liquid for the first time as a preventive mesure, until then I had no problems with the ADB sensor, but after pouring this additive, after a couple of 100 km, a couple of warnings appeared that something wrong with adb.
Then I went to the service center and they reset the warning, but it came back on after a few kilometers. After a couple of days I went to the service center again, where they completely drained the adb tank and found a lot of tiny black particles-garbage in the fluid, then we poured new fluid and now after a couple of 1000 km it is still fine.
But now I don't know if the error was caused by these black particles in the fluid or something else??
