Hi, any help appreciated. Randomly getting traction control light appear. I've had it scanned today whilst the light was on with following results:
U1213 One of the parameters present in data stream sent by ABS/ESP is invalid
C0040 Brake pedal Sensor: Incoherence
Where should I be looking first?
Thanks

Firstly, good luck with this. It might end up way beyond a bit of tinkering at home.
Anyway, brake pedal coherence...check both brake pedal switches are NOT made until the pedal is pressed and that both switches ARE made when the pedal is pressed.
Oh and they aren't mounted where you think (on the brake pedal) - but under the dome shaped cover in the passenger footwell...you might get lucky and one switch is stuck on, or has fallen off the bracket.
If this all checks out ok with a multimeter, then you're into canbus testing and abs sensors / wiring.

Many thanks, the mechanic ended up replacing the brake light switch and this seems to have solved the issue.
