Hello,
I have a 2019 Berlingo van (the older version, not the new one that is 2019 onwards) that I'm converting in to a tiny campervan. I'd really like to be able to exit the van via the rear barn doors, not just the sliding side door. Does anyone know if and how this can be done? It does look like there holes and a bit of moulding to the panel where a handle could/should go, but can't find anywhere with the part to fit.
Has anyone managed to make their doors open from the inside?
Thanks
Ruth

Nope. Many have asked, but there are no parts available to achieve this.

would it be possible to add a switch that operates the lock?. My B9 up and over back door has one.
I would not feel safe if I needed to get out the back door quickly and there was not a way to open the door from the inside.

It's been a few years since I had a " Barn Door " so have forgotten details - seem to remember a white square button that was pressed to open the door or am I thinking of my old C15 Van ??
Anyway maybe a photograph might job some grey cells ?
Either way there has to be a DIY method to sort this out.

Both my M49 and K9 barn doors have a handle so they can be opened from the inside. (The M49 has no side door so it's the only way out). I'm guessing the M59 will be the same as the M49. Odd that the B9 doesn't have this basic feature.

The B9 van has side door inside handles. The rear barn doors have no internal mechanism with which to open the doors.

Have seen someone use a bog flush button to open the rear doors, requires drilling a hole in the correct place to essentially push the handle out from the inside
