RIP Dreadnought - where now?
#1
My 1.4 Petrol expired last night - cambelt went. My fault, been meaning to get it done for yonks.

I now have fun of a dead car at a (luckily the friendly local sort, and the owner knows my family) garage 100 miles from home, haven't quite worked out how to get myself back home yet, never mind what to do with the car.

So... while I flap round like a headless chicken and work out what the hell I'm going to do next, anyone in Essex want a dead 1.4 Multispace?

That's painful - an avoidable death. The garage should know the local scrapyards - can't see many other options, as I don't suppose the garage is so friendly that they'll hang onto the car while you try and sell it (or sell the the usable bits)?

Well, six months later, I bought another Berlingo... RIP Dreadnought (it was grey, slow, and handled like a battleship), hello Le Van Rouge.
