Hi Hive mind
Does anyone know if you can retrofit 2012 onward headlamps to an 09 Berli? Mine have gone foggy and though iv'e tried referbing them they were still an advisory on the mot.
Cheers .

Facelift was 2013> so up to 2012, all B9 headlights were the same.

I think there is a difference in the sidelight plug arrangement now you mention it.
Why not get a pre 2013 set and just fit those? Mine were never foggy on my 2012 van, it's down to use and conditions.

IIRC, I posted a few years ago about my first M59 headlights going foggy. It turned out to be the vent tubes that had some kind of insect trap getting clogged. I removed the trap and all was well, don't think I had any problems with insects either.

My 2008 one had a ton of condensation in 9ne headlight. I just took all the bulb carriers out and left it in the sun all day. Dry as a bone now. If it's because of water ingress I suppose it'll get wet again but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
