Hi all,
I have a 2017 Multispace Feel with no touch screen.
The previous owner had a reverse warning system fitted by Citroen when new and it is worse than useless.
I have found an oem touch screen for sale, but having searched the Forum checked the manual and googled it, I can find no mention of whether a reversing camera can be fitted to the touch screen which will bleep and do all the things that reversing cameras should do.
So, before I go ahead and buy the touch screen, I wonder if anyone who has a similar multispace with the factory fitted touch screen can tell me if it has or can be fitted with the reversing camera. Any other info would be most welcome.
thanks all, Ian

As far as I know you need the Citroen OEM camera and the whole lot coded using Diagbox. Usually the park distance control is built in to the car, with the controller in the rear side panel and sensors in the bumper. Don't think the camera alone can measure distance or bleep etc. I believe you need the entire setup for that capability.
I had the version with no camera and it does everything except a picture of course, so the camera just gives a visual instead of the readout.
The Citroen reverse sensors without the camera are very good. No idea what your previous owner fitted as it doesn't sound like the real thing.

Thanks Zion, the previous owner who was a very good friend of mine, bought the car new. It was in the showroom when he went to get his C4 serviced and decided to buy it. It didn't have any reverse warning so the Citroen garage fitted this system which has 4 sensors at the rear leading to a small box with a buzzer in the nearside rear wing space .There is no visual warning of any kind, just the buzzer which goes off as soon as you engage reverse, even when there is nothing there and only goes to a solid note when near an object.
I have all the paperwork including the new vehicle purchase invoice and find they charged £250 for it!!. I have fitted better units from E-bay for £20 or so which were far better than this.
He did go back to Citroen to complain but they said it was working normally, so he put up with it.
I'm now thinking that maybe, rather than going for the oem unit, I should look to a suitable compatible unit which would do the job. There are so many out there , it's difficult to know which one to chose.
If anyone has done this I would be most grateful if you could share your experiences.
thanks, Ian

That sounds nothing like the standard Citroen park assist that my van came with and it was a 2012 model. Not sure what they fitted to yours, as the factory one shows the distance and location of objects on the orange central display as well as rising tones the closer you get. There's also a button to disable it on the right side dash next to the steering wheel, for trailer towing. Has a big P and a radar symbol on it. If you don't have that button, you don't have the factory Citroen system but some aftermarket thing they stuck on.
Can't comment on aftermarket stuff. Most B9 Berlingos actually come with the factory park assist from new.

Your system sounds ideal and I would be more than happy with the same setup instead of this garbage that Citroen fitted. I think my best plan will be to contact a local ICE installer and find out what would be the best option. Once again thank you so much for all your assistance and help. It is much appreciated.
