Hi all. Apologies for this question but can anyone confirm the operation of the blower/ac function on my 03 multi space. I have the 3 dials on the control panel. Centre is obviously temperature control. Right side is direction eg footwell, windscreen etc so my guess is the left hand dial is the fan speed. Am I correct in this. I’m only asking as nothing happens when I turn them. Thanks

Yeah left hand dial is meant to be fan speed. Mine is... finnicky - there are quite a few people on this forum that have trouble with theirs too.

If the blower does not work at all with the engine running, chances are it's the resistor pack that's failed. A search should hopefully turn up the info that you need. If not, post again & someone will be sure to help.

Hi and thanks. It’s the model with the built in resistor as it’s got a/c. I’ve taken the blower out and tested it with 12v and it runs ok. Is there a relay to check. Can’t seem to find much info online about this. Thanks

The silver spiked unit on the motor then, is the speed control resistor. That will be what has failed. There is a green relay buried in the back of the glovebox, but normally it is the motor speed control unit, which in your case is the silver bit on the end of the motor.
Not all AC models had the silver unit on the motor btw, mine had AC and yet had the green speed control resistor in the white housing where the blower sits, dead above the throttle pedal.
If you want to see my write up on the repair, see here:

Thanks for your help. I ended up buying a new blower fan and now works fine. Thanks
