Surfboard storage in roof

Hi. I’ve just bought a 03 multi space with the modutop style roof. I’m looking for any ideas for securing surfboards to the roof. I guess the easiest option is to somehow bungee cord them up but wondering if anyone has seen or made and interior bars/racking ideal for this. Thanks ?

Just to add, I mean to secure the boards inside the vehicle, on the roof space area and not on the external roof bars.

There were internal roof bars available as accessories for later (B9) models, not sure about earlier models.
