I have just bought a set of Bosch EC9 twin tones to replace the factory fitted....well,horn isn't the right word,our labrador farts louder than the Citroen offering!
Anyway,I'll pick them up in a couple of weeks when I'm over to visit family,but as soon as I get home I'll be wanting to fit them.
So does anyone know exactly where the horn is situated and is it easy to get to?
I'll need to take the switch feed from there for a relay.

I will be interested to see how you get on with this. I got air horns for my Mk2 in 2003, lifted the bonnet looked inside, shut the bonnet and put them in the garage. They are still there.
Have you thought of strapping the Labrador to the front of your car?

Just wondering where I can get a set of horns to replicate the sound of our lurcher and cairn terrier farting in unison.
Ideas anyone???:whistle::whistle::whistle::lol::lol:

I too bought a horn to replace the joke from the factory. Haven't fitted it yet. The horn is on the left side (my drivers side) under the front grill/fender somewhere. Haven't seen it yet and it's way to cold to have another look until spring. Would love to see some pics of where it is exactly and what you have to do to get to it. Since we drive on the wrong side of the road over here :wave: it's possible it's on the right hand drivers side in your part of the world. Sit in front and have someone give it a tweet.

if its the same as the the mk2 its on the right handside as you look at the front behind the bumper, i had to take the light and grill out to upgrade the horn.
ive fitted 2 Stebel Magnum horns and the standard horn its as loud as a lorry horn its funny people do not expect it. Stebel Magnum horns are 136db + standard so 136db and more.

Ahh, hadn't noticed you were on the continent. Land of the best moules I've ever eaten and some great beers.
