Berlingo k9 scuttle drain
#1
I was checking my scuttle for any debris as it was a regular job on my previous Peugeot Boxer to prevent the scuttle drains from clogging and water entering the cab and engine area. On close inspection at the end of the scuttle at both sides there are no drainage tubes.  The scuttle just terminates and water exits down the internal front wing and exits at the wheel arch.

I spoke to Citroen and they couldn't tell me if there should be a drain tube or not at the end of the scuttle. Surely water shouldn't exit the scuttle in such a manner. However it doesn't appear a hose could clip or fix onto the end of the scuttle. I have exhausted internet searches trying to find a scuttle drain for the k9 but there is nothing.

Could someone have a look at their k9 Berlingo and tell me what exists at the end of their scuttle. I really don't think water should be on the running down the inside wing like this.

Yep all looks good to me. The drainage slot is as you say an opening to inside the wing.

I think it's just fine being nice and wide unlikely to clog easily and probably gets a fair amount of airflow whilst driving to dry it out quickly.

Citroen gets a thumbs up from me for a good simple design - BUT - a thumbs down for not knowing enough about their own product - which I have found out they are woefully inadequate.
