Passenger airbag disable

Hi,

I have been trying to find out how to disable the passenger airbag on my Berlingo M Space Forte 2003. Can anyone help please? I have checked all the usual places but nothing found. Perhaps it's a fuse removal?

Nope it's a key slot if it can be disabled at all. Have you looked inside the glovebox near the top edge or on the end of the dash when you open the door (passenger side)

Hi Zion, thanks for the reply. Nothing on or near the door at all. Ill take out the glove box for a closer look.

You'll see here there are two versions, one does not have passenger deactivation and there's a block of plastic on the lower end of the dash where the key would be for it. Only visible as you open the door fully on the passenger side (could be drivers side in the UK ones.) Mine were vans so no passenger airbags fitted.

Our 2007 Berlingo based Romahome doesn't have a passenger airbag, there is a bit of a cubby box instead

Mystery solved! There is no passenger airbag fitted. Nothing to say airbag anywhere inn front of the passenger. I pulled out the glovebox and fascia and no wiring goes up behind where the bag would sit and no switch, keyhole or buttons. Thanks for your help chaps, greatly appreciated.
