Returning to the fold

After 10 years and 130K faithful miles I traded my M59 2.0 Hdi for a Skoda Octavia (another story), but today I have been helping my daughter to get her first car a 15 year old M59 1.4 Multispace with Air Con and LPG conversion. It has done 100K and is quite battered in many areas and we have plans to turn it into a basic camper! I have looked at the camping threads with great interest!

I have 2 burning questions - 

Does anyone else have an LPG conversion? I think this was done when the vehicle was new by Nicholson McLaren. The car comes with no history.

Any recommendation for a reliable mechanic in the Brighton area to look after an ageing Berlingo.

PS aside from the (boring) Skoda, my car of choice is the early ancestor of the Berlingo - a 2CV!
