Hi troops, I would like to run a can of Liqui Moly diesel purge through my motor. This is to be done by running the machine on pure additive as opposed to putting it in the fuel tank and letting it mix with the diesel. I need to set up an auxiliary fuel tank under the bonnet to supply the liqui moly diesel purge directly to the high pressure fuel pump. Have ye wise folk any advise on the best way to connect into the hoses that run from the fuel filter to the HP pump? They are a proprietary connectors as opposed to a barbed nipple over which you slide a fuel hose and fasten with a jubilee clip.
Also, in the attached picture, are my labels correct?

I can't be certain but think the connectors to the fuel filter etc are fairly standard push fit connectors and are also used in the Eolys / PAT fluid tanks. You can get those connectors as part of a kit, see the connectors in the link below, it's the top left connector. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383635500891?...Swm7VfECpL
So it turns out that there are plenty of those connectors available which is mighty. How about my labelled diagram? Do you think the labels are correct?

AFAIK, you would also have to bypass the diesel filter. The same connectors for the in/out of the diesel filter and a hose between them. Might be wrong, but that is what I have heard/seen, the liqui moly will destroy the filter element inside. Also, put an inline filter on the line from the tank with liqui moly, you do not want a small particle to further block those injectors.
Could not quite see from the photo if your engine had a hand pump to purge air. You may need one one-way valve pumping thingy to purge the air from the lines.
Yes I'll bypass the fuel filter and just run the engine on straight moly. An in-line filter is also on the list. Thanks for the tips.
As for my diagram above... After some more rooting around last night I can see that the rightmost connection on the fuel filter just goes back to the tank and is not a return from the high pressure pump.

AFAIK, the fuel filter is pre-high pressure pump. In other words, the in/out of fuel filter are not high pressure. So, you can just connect them together.
