[Warning Light] No code, can't clear
#1
Hi all, my 2016 1.6 hdi auto is showing a warning light & engine fault have the vehicle repaired message on the screen. The van drives normally.
However when scanned there is no fault code shown, & can't be cleared.
I've had my mechanic, who is very experienced with citroens check it out without success.
I just wondered if anyone here has any tips or experience with this type of fault.

Thanks in advance

Did your mechanic use Diagbox to scan for the fault?

Nope
But did use 3 different pro grade scanners
He works on citroens all the time,so I would assume he has the professional equipment

I think he'll need to do a Global Scan with Diagbox to be sure. It may well be that the fault is at a level that does not generate a code. Maybe there's someone in your area that can do that? It will only take 10 mins.

So I went back to the mechanic this evening, he was able to update his software and was able to find the issue, turns out it was a faulty oil level sensor.
