Berlingo 2014 LWB - towbar install

Hello

I have a 2014 Berlingo HDi 1.6L diesel turbo (long wheel base version).

I want to try and fit a towbar to the car. Specs on the tow bar are here:

I cannot find any instructions for fitting this towbar, but I've seen others fitted and I figure the mechanical aspect of it is pretty simple.

What worries me is fitting the wiring harness. I have only found instructions online on how to fit the harness to a later model Berlingo and that looked like an absolute nightmare, having to play around with the ECU in the engine bay etc.

Has anyone ever fitted this (or any other type) of wiring harness to a 2014 berlingo? Where does it connect into and what were brief the steps?

Will be fitting a towbar to my van sometime soon the same one as you have indicated.From looking into it you need one of these :-https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143996959638?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 . The canbus dictates this as i understand it.It needs a powered fused feed. The wires for each function need to be piggybacked onto each wire as indicated in relay instructions. The powered lead powers the working of each function on trailer as opposed to drawing voltage from the car system which would upset the can bus If you could have ago at this and post a in-depth how to that would be much appreciated
