Noticed a pool of what like oil under the car but had a reddish tint. The leak is on drivers side about halfway along rear door, I’ve taken a photo but not posted pics on here before.
Checked all fluid tanks and all ok, nothing in the in car diagnostics.
Unfortunately not at home and will require just over 20 miles to get there.
First question..
Can I drive the car without any problems?
I think I have the tank version rather than the pouch.
I’d rather go to my Indy garage to get it repaired but might have to go local if I can’t drive.
Sorry for a not fluid post.

On 2009 you will have a pouch system if it actually has a DPF. It just lives inside a tank-looking cover just ahead of the drivers side rear wheel if so. Pouches were still in use on my 2012 van. Your year is on the turning point I think, to even have a DPF at all so if not, no pouch OR tank. Could be wrong of course.
I'd expect you to get 20 miles without any issues if it is an eolys leak. It doesn't know how much is left so it can't detect a leak. Maybe this isn't eolys, hard to say. Power steering fluid or ATF sounds more likely from the colour as eolys is kind of yellowy from what I've seen.

Thanks, def have eolys as it was refilled not long ago, ( as not at home to see invoice) have to phone garage tomorrow as they hopefully will be able to tell me. Then a question of when they can look at it.
Got just under half a tank of diesel.
The important thing is I can drive as long as I don’t take fuel cap off if I understand correctly.
What
Hats ATF?

ATF is automatic transmission fluid, used in power steering and auto gear boxes. It's red.
It would try and squirt a shot of eolys into the fuel tank if you open the fuel tank cap so probably won't notice either way. If there was no fluid left in the pouch then it just won't be able to regenerate as well as it used to. But it will still run with no issues unless your DPF was near to blocking.
Eolys only helps to increase the DPF heating during regens and reduce Nox emissions. It has no effect on running.

Ok good, so what mileage are you on now and what was it when the pouch was installed?

99,990 miles now dpf fluid and pouch would have been about 90,000 miles, is a new pouch always fitted on a refill.
I raised the question about warranty and they are saying it's over year old but will check. My answer was the previous one had been there since built in 2009 so they should last longer than a year.
It's at the garage now, they also mentioned something about the might be pump leaking?
Will post an update later
