Can anybody explain how to set up the turbo waste gate actuator on the b9 1.6 HDI 2013. The connector from the actuator to the gate has a lot of adjustment. Does it matter where in its travel it is or as long as the actuator draws the gate shut on startup that is good enough? Does anybody know if you can set it up with Diagbox and how to do it? Can seem to find much on internet that explains it for this type.

Not sure on the adjustment - there will be a measurement point as the wastegate determines the boost pressure to an extent and can over boost if it doesn't open by the right amount.

Try as I might I cannot open these docs on iPad or Mac. It’s suppose to open in “pages” but doesn’t like it. Any ideas? Tried to open it on the laptop the Diagbox is on. Tried to access through the sky site cause could not get email to work. Just loading the graphics page on the sky sign in page took about 10 minutes and the fan was doing about 40000 rpm so gave up on that. It’s a bit old!
You just download them, by right click and save attachment as...then choose where to put them. They are Windows .doc files for MSWord.
No idea what to do with a Mac, never had one. But only Microsoft Word will open doc files, sorry.
If you can open PDF files then I can convert them to that format tomorrow. I'll see what I can do.

Ok, I converted them all to PDF in Word which works well, as when they were "printed" as PDF they were too large to attach (the forum has a limit of 1mb per item) so I'll do them all like this in future.

Check Zion's docs and see if it is not described there. AFAIK you need to set the wastegate so that there is a bit of pre-tension.
So, you undo the circlip of the arm that connects to the wastegate and undo the nut as well. You would need to rotate the end bit so that through the hole you can see half (right half) of the bolt-type thing that the arm connects to and gets secured with the circlip. Now the arm cannot be put on straight away, you would need to pull the wastegate arm towards the exhaust part of the turbo. Click it on and put the circlip. That is enough pre-tension.
Thanks Saskak, that sounds like a good procedure to follow.

Thanks for converting those they open great. Sure they will be of some use in the future, they come tantalising close to the subject but no cigar. Out of curiosity where does the information come from? Is is a disc for Citroen techs or such like.
