Berlingo Fap Dpf Fluid Tank eloys
#1
hello I just joined this forum today as we have a 2018 Berlingo diesel (mobility adapted) and since May we have not been able to use the car much as the eloys tank developed a leak (and in the mobility conversion the tank is fitted inside the car under the rear passenger underfloor storage box so the fumes are not good).  It leaks where the pipe goes into the tank and so needs new tank and pipe (already got the pipe). The local Citroen dealer has had a new tank on order since May from Citroen but still no idea when it will arrive. I've looked at all the usual EU car part suppliers and none seem available nor on any used site. Does anyone know where we can get a new/used tank part no 98016296080 (this is the part number the dealer is quoting).
Any ideas welcome or indeed if the plastic pipe on the pump can be repaired somehow and then it can be refilled with this expensive fluid.
Thanks Smile

I am interested in this thread as I also have a 2018 1.5HDI. I know it has Adblu, but thought it did not have Eloys.
Can anyone confirm for me please?

I am told by Citroen that this model had both the AdBlue and the Eolys systems. Ad blue by the filler cap you you top up about every 10K whilst the eolys is normally mounted under the car and lasts about 70k. In our mobility version the tank is moved inside the car in the rear cubby box under the floor - thats the one that is leaking and we are quoted around £1000 to fix for new pump, pipes and fluid (the eolys fluid on its own is about £300 I'm told).  Trying breakers yards now so we can get car back on the road.

n the end the tank was leaking so found a new one from Neo brothers- very quick delivery and cheap for original products and eolys fluid was reasonable cost too at about £20 /L

Item closed now as changed car for new petrol berlingo 8 speed auto - what a different car!!
