Hello all Berlingo people. Is there any way I can make my 2wd Berlingo look more like a 4x4 Berlingo? I mean make it higher in the front so I can go a bit off-road. Would it be enough to just change the springs?

Traction is pretty poor no matter how much the suspension is raised.
I have trouble getting up my driveway in wet weather so mud etc. is going to be challenging with 2WD!

There was a version available with limited slip differential to give it a bit better rough ground performance. Peugeot Partner Combi had a few off road pretensions with grills on the lights and higher ride.
So where does this bit go then ?

Thansk for the fast answers. Im not really looking for traction. Im only looking for looks. I want my 2wd to be as high as the 4x4 in the front.

For the 1.4i/MA5 users there's a 'LSD'
out there that uses a slightly different tech that gives a much moother operation. It has been used a lot in rallying models with that engine and gearbox. It's actually manufactured in England, but I think the price is over £500, and you need to completely dismantle the gearbox to fit it.
If you just want the looks, I'd suggest checking around on breakers yards for a scrapped 4x4 and get the parts off of that. Then you'd know that the parts fits...

Peugeot Partner Escapade has 30mm longer shocks and different springs to a Berlingo. I have one and rebuilt it's front end when I bought it - the part numbers are all different between the two models.
The Escapade also have a substantial steel sump/skid plate and the light guards as mentioned above.

Pretty interesting that the escapade has more than just skin-deep differences.
