Under the car in front of the fuel tank there is a kind of electrical solenoid (on a two pin connector) fastened to a beam under the floor, with thin diesel-pipes on inlet and outlet. What is this, what function do it have and what is it called......????

Could it be for a auxiliary heater that runs on diesel from the fuel tank ?
