any ideas on this please

 Does anyone know why this clock or panel keeps flashing no codes no door open NOTHING JUST keeps flashing 
CAN ANYONE HELP please i am out off ideas ????

Is it random flickering or a steady pulsing? Does it do this constantly or only when moving? Does it only do it when the engine is running, or even with just the ignition on?

Does this constantly the min you turn the key and driving ony time it stops when key is out

They are easy enough to remove (search on here and elsewhere for MFD), you could just disconnect & re-connect to see if that helps. If the MFD is faulty, they are also quite common but just need to be careful that you get one with the right connector as it might be different on the M49. Take a note / picture of the part number & a picture of the connector while it's out and post here?

Ours in the M59 does it but only when it's cold and damp.
