...of dealing with the problem of peeling lacquer:
From a distance I thought it was grey primer but on closer inspection I think it might be 'stone effect' paint.
I must confess I quite like the idea.

Ha, interesting way and being half painted one may not need to notify the change of colour to the DVLA.

I don't think it's a wrap, looked a bit too 'rough and ready' TBH.
Interestingly, when I enquired with Aviva about modifications they would cover banded wheels but not a satin black bonnet as it was non-standard paint...
