Abs light on.
#1
I have a problem. The abs light is on and I don't get any speed in the speedometer if I lift the front end so only the front wheels spins. I had done some work on the left wheel are so I thought maybe that sensor was broken. I changed it and still doesn't work. What could the problem be? The light comes on when the key is in the second position. When I start the car it disappears for a second and then comes back on.

Only Diagbox can tell you exactly what is wrong. Or a top end Autel or Snap On unit with manufacturers level diagnostics.

You would then see live data from each wheel independently and also could read the ABS controller fault memory

Have you tried driving the car on the road, you need to get up to around 15mph, if all is well the light will go out.

If you jack up a wheel off the ground and let the engine spin it the ABS light will come on as the system will see one wheel moving when the rest are stationary, to clear the fault you need to drive the car (up to around 15mph) so all wheels are registering a speed, then the system will reset.

If driving the car doesn't clear the fault then as Zion said you will need a diagnostic tool.

I had abs/esr fault and following a scan it turned out to be the brake light switch. Common fault I was told.

I had the problem as described above. The light went out as soon as I got off the drive & onto the road. Worth trying first.
