Hi fellow Berlingo Owners,
I am brand new to the forum and hoping that some of you knowledgeable folks will be able to help me out.
My problem is to do with the steering, all was fine and well when i set off on my journey to visit a friend
(less than a 10 minute drive)
I was only there for a 5 minute chat before setting off on the return journey home, less than a minute into driving back the steering became very stiff, the warning light lit up and the message "Power Steering Fault" appeared on the LCD display.
The car was driveable but with no power assisted steering all the way back.
When i arrived home and tried the car again to see if the fault had remained or was just a glitch the steering wheel had a quite strong judder/vibration to it.
I have checked the power steering fluid level and topped it up.
The fault warning however remains, have any of you suffered from the same issue or have any helpful knowledge?
Thank you in advance for any advice.
James
