Hello people much wiser than I.
I wonder if someone might know a fix for the Multi Function Display where the right hand side fades as the car warms up.
Start from cold, can see the clock on the right of the display.
Run for about 20 minuets and the display fades to almost nothing but the left side is fine.
Is it just a Citroen thing or is there a cure?
Cheers.
Okay, found the thread with the information required, C3 display with diffuser swap here I come

I was reading and I thought to reply with the thread on the diffuser screen swap, but it looks like you found it. I have had mine with the C8 and diffuser swapped and have not had a problem for the past 6 years or so.

In the end I could not find a C3 screen that was big enough. Mine is the Desire model with fuel computer etc; so I ordered a C8 one, hasn't come yet. I'll probably leave it green as I always thought the red / orange display reminded me of a 1990's Rover I once owned. IE not a very modern look.

The C8 certainly fits and it is the same replacement, only the polarised filter is switched. I hated the black letters on a green background. Somehow it clashes with the instrument cluster as well. Then again, much less work to fit it.

Quick update, the C8 unit was fitted, I left it green screen as I prefer the look. It was plug and play.
Interestingly I have two more "options" in the settings menu that I did not have before
These are:
Overspeed OFF <Quit <On
and
Check Control <Quit <OK
I suspect it's picking these up from the BSI after a previous failed attempt to install cruise control where the independent Citroen "specialist" turned on all BSI cruise related functions but it still would not work.
Anyone know what these functions do?

I also have these two additional functions and never really got to understand what they do. The C8 might have some additional data sent to the unit, where we do not have that with the M59.

Overspeed sounds like the limiter, mine has cruise with limiter from the factory. Limits your top speed...
Check control will be the diagnostic function where you can look at some fault messages.
Both of these are B9 functions in my thinking so maybe the C8 has the same setup.

Like yourself & saskak, I put a C8 display in my M59 Berlingo and had the same 'extra' options. I think it's something to do with the firmware in the display unit.
I preferred the C8 colour too!
