My Haynes manual tells me I need Total AT42 fluid for my 2010 Berlingo with its belt driven drive assembly. I can’t find this anywhere near me. Is there an equivalent I can use, does it need to be synthetic etc. I have a Halfords round the corner but it’s no good asking them!!
Thanks

Dexron III was the original replacement for Total, and this was later upped to Dexron VI (which can be used but exceeds the original spec)
However good old Halfords own brand -https://www.halfords.ie/motoring/engine-oils-fluids/gearbox-oil/halfords-transmission-and-power-steering-fluid-1l-262407.html - is equivalent to Dexron III
