Hi all,
just a heads-up, that Philips has received approval for running these LED bulbs on the K9 Berlingo at least for these two markets.
I'm not sure if that is also translate to an European wide passing, but still might be interesting to some.
I installed them yesterday. They come with all the necessary components directly installed to the back of the bulb and are actively cooled.
The Berlingo's headlight housing is big enough to still fit the cover on the back without any issues.

I tried some similar Chinese units but even tho they fit perfectly in the sockets one of the beams was aimed right in front of the car.

Hm, I'm yet to test them in traffic, but from the first look at it and from what I've seen elsewhere, they should be well aligned.
If they are straight with the base, there should be no reason for them to act differently to halogen bulbs.

sure, probably something to do with the LED location on the stem.

Quick update.
Did a couple hours of night driving yesterday and it’s great.
Also no one flashed at me, so seems to be totally fine.

I think not, the official website says for driving in the UK, they need to be changed back to Halogens.

Only now had the time to install them. Not dark yet but even during daytime I can see a clear cutoff line on my gate, unlike the Chinese crap I had tested earlier which threw glare anywhere but the correct direction. Good stuff.

Been again driving a lot this last weekend during dawn and into the night and I can honestly say one of the best mods to be done to any K9 Berlingo
