Auto Gearbox intermittent problem

Hi all, I have a 2017 Multispace with the auto gearbox. Done just under 30,000 miles.
Occasionally , when selecting either forward or reverse from a standstill there will be a quite loud clunk and the car will try to move against the footbrake which I always apply when selecting drive.
Also sometimes when driving, the gearchange can be be very clunky, yet other times it is very smooth.
Could this be low oil in the gearbox?
Any other suggestion appreciated. Thanks

if you didn't replaced the clutch then first check all engine and gearbox mounts.
if you replaced the clutch then the learning procedure must be made using lexia/diagbox.

also you can scan gearbox for errors, if it had low oil or high temp then I think it will give you an warning message to dash display

also check anti roll bar or torque link, or shock absorbers/mounts

I could well be talking rubbish here, but if the gearbox is an automated 'manual' then the actuator should be fully releasing the clutch, which it isn't, as there's creep. Also is there a dual mass flywheel involved, as this might introduce the clunk in the driveline?

yes good point about actuator, maybe it's low on oil/fluid

The car has done less than 30,000 and is all original, nothing has been changed.
The original owner (my best friend) who I bought the car from had complained to Citroen when he bought it new, but they said they couldn't replicate the fault so he just put up with it.
It is in fact the "automated manual".
It has to go in for a service soon so I'll ask them to check the oil levels

The oil levels will not be anything to do with it. The clutch adjustment is the issue as deejay said. The piloted manual boxes need a critical clutch calibration done to prevent snatching and juddering issues.

Citroen don't make a conventional auto slush box, they are all manuals with an auto clutch. Manuals cannot cause creep or snatch from oil level issues, only the clutch can do that.
