Hello I have a 2004 1.9d.
Can't seem to get to the bottom of the door lock problem I have.
The remote fob works fine but if I try and lock the van with key 9 times out of ten the key just rotates in the barrel.
I bought a standard fob off ebay and put the chip in it but that key doesn't open the door or operate the ignition.
I read that the barrel is designed to rotate freely to deter theft is there a way I can stop this rotation issue. So frustrating not know if they'll work from one day to thr next.
