Here are the ones I have:

https://www.halfords.com/motoring/tools/...sCEALw_wcB

Remember if you remove the stereo and swap it, you lose a lot of functionality on the info screen and the buttons on the steering wheel, cannot set the clock or change functions etc. It has an ECU inside it that is the controller of the main orange display screen (for fuel, MPG, trip etc)

You can gain it all back with a connects2 module, worth factoring in the cost when changing head unit

You do indeed, I changed my head unit and haven't fitted a Connects2 yet as I grudge spending £65 to get the button control back.

The easy way is to pull out the tray under the radio. push the radio out from behind. easy to get out that way. should you mount aftermarket radio. i would recmend Teyes cc2 or cc3. i have had this 9" radio for 2 years, and i love this radio. i have also mounted tpms sensors so i get a low tyre pressure warning.
backup camera, front trafic camera. and you have all the things you need and lots more (the mid display also works. ) And yes if you should go for pionner, kenwood, jvc etc. you should get the connects2 kit. ctspg0072 and your mid screen will work as normal.
