Hello everyone..
I'm niknak, I have a 1.9 '04 Belingo multispace. I think it's a MK2? ? But all the info online is just regurgitated wiki entries! So if I'm wrong feel free to furnish me with the correct info. ?

Welcome Niknak.

It will be a facelifted Mk1 and is known as an M59 (MK1.5 if you want to use that terminology)

M49 was 1996 - 2002, M59 was a facelift of that vehicle and ran 2003 - 2008, then came the actual Mk2, knows as a B9 running 2008 - 2018. There was also an overlap vehicle based on the M59 known as the Berlingo First which went 2008 - 2011.

Amazing! Thank you for clarifying this for me..
I knew there had been a face-lift of the MK1, and that my vehicle was in the cusp of some sort of change but couldn't find that info.. I have dyscalculia, so numbers get very muddling for me.
Also I did not realise the vans are the same as the cars! I've been desperately looking for a o/s drivers seatbelt, now I know that I can use van parts to this will be much easier!

No worries, yep the vans are identical to the cars so bits like that will be easily swapped.

Have you tried eBay? Lots of parts on there and people breaking cars and vans.

Yes eBay is the first place I tried. There's passengerside but no driver side.
Phoned the scrap yards in my area. Tried various websites that list other yards , most of them wanted 6 or 7 times the price.. found reasonable priced one @£24 Inc p&p, but somehow im being sent the passenger one ? and thats now been in transit for 10 days.. so a bit of a rigmarole.. though tbf I may need a passenger one for the mot to..
Have you any other suggestions of places to try? There's loads of berlingos round here, it seems to be the ultimate hippy car so thought I'd find lots of parts locally!

I'm just going to check ebay again to see if there's anyway van ones! Thanks for that tip..
Do you know if the o/s and n/s belts are interchangeable? Or if there are any other vehicles that use the same? ?

I couldn't say. There's likely no other models that would fit, maybe a pug 306 but those will be like rocking horse s**t too. That's what the M59 is based on. The only thing you can do is try fitting the ns one and see if it works?

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with me...
I had a 306 ages ago..loved that car...went on for ages, even after the brakes went going down the highest hill in Devon!!

Some of the listing I've seen say that seatbelts from Partner (Peugeot, isn't it? ?) fit Berlingos..but I've not been keen to take a punt.

What is a Berlingo LX? Is it like the M59 van?
I got offered a discount on this seat belt

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265946267310?...name=11304

Do you think this would fit? ?

Ok, now the Peugeot partner models are exactly the same in every single way mechanically, bar the badges. Every single way.

Next, the LX is only a trim level. Again, all Berlingos of the same era (M59) are exactly the same in every way possible when it comes to mechanical bits like seatbelts. If it's 2003-2008 then it's the same vehicle.

I apologise for not realising everyone doesn't know the Partner and Berlingo of the same years, are identical in every way and all mechanical  parts are interchangeable.
