2.0 HDi Partner rough start and random check engine light

Hope you're all well. My first post here.

I have a 2004 Peugeot partner 2.0 HDi (90hp) which is mechanically identical to the berlingo.

For a while now, and out of the blue, I've had very rough starting issues. The car would start but would shake and idle very low. The engine would also shake and sometimes switch off. However, if i give it a bit of gas, it would idle fine but still shake the engine. 
Now while I drive and take my foot off the gas, as i decelerate, the car would throw a check engine light but it goes away as soon as i push the gas pedal.

My car has done 400K km with engine replaced somewhere around 300K 
It had No issues prior to this. The only fault to ever show was MAF sensor but that never been an issue.

What could it possibly be? I have the scan tool and diagbox, is there a way for me to scan for this random error that pops in and out? Even if it's not showing at the time of the test? Thanks

PS: the attached photos are:
Normal driving (no check engine)
Slow down off gas (check engine)
Speed back up (check engine goes away)

So i scanned it and this is what's showing as errors:
P0113
And p0102

Welcome.

From a quick Google search, both of those codes look like they are related to the MAF. A quick way to check is by disconnecting the MAF and see if there is any difference. There are a few posts on here about the 2.0 HDi MAF that will show how & where it is on the 2.0 engine.

Thank you for your help and reply.

I have disconnected the MAF sensor and it has made no difference, still judders and throws a check engine light.

I unplugged the MAF sensor before and never had this issue...
It's driving me insane...

Another possibility is maybe the EGR valve does not close or open properly. The fault codes that you have suggest the MAF, but maybe they are wrong. On my 2.0, I made a blanking plate for the EGR to test if it made a difference. It actually made things worse for me as it was a new MAF that I needed, but it may be something to test?

I took the tube off the EGR a long time ago. Never been an issue.

The middle photo shows you are doing just under 70kph at about 750 rpm.
This would suggest you are in possibly too high a gear for the engine.
Could that have anything to do with it?

Thank you for all your help and responses! It's much appreciated

No no, the car is coasting in Neutral. I was in 5th, i dropped it to Neutral and slowed down.

It's actually a video but i took screenshots.

This morning, it struggled to hold idle. It was bouncing up and down at this level until i gave it a bit of gas. See photo for where it was idling very rough.

Does the engine die if you hold the rpm at 1000 during cold start?

I've not had this issue myself but I think I've read somewhere that it could be the fuel pressure regulator - especially the poor start fuelling issue. There's a YouTube video of someone fixing the problem on a 2.0HDI 306(?) IIRC
