Hello to you all,
Thanks for all the support we have had since the start (Sept 20th), and especially since the turn of the new year!
Below should be an image showing you the progression we have had since the beginning. The figure under Threads, giving you the number of threads in the given month, and the Posts, giving you that figure.
As you can see, January has been a fantastically busy month!
If you are wondering about the appearance of advertisements; i didn't want to introduce them but i'd like to generate something to pay for the hosting of this site. Hopefully other ways and means will eventually allow in-your-face advertising to be put to a minimum. On another point, i will be enquiring about forum stickers which you guys have been asking about, so hopefully that won't be too far away.
Thanks for the quality contributions.

shame I came on this morning and thought what the hell is this. Is it not possible to charge a small fee from members who post and seek technical support instead? Cheapens the forum in my honest opinion.
Otherwise as I have always said, brill forum and getting better.

I shouldn't really say, but two things.
I reccommend all users to be using Firefox, or Google Chrome as their choice of web browser. .
For those who are using/will use Firefox, there is a fantastic plugin for it call Adblock Plus. It's very clever in the fact that it is good at identifying and blocking advertisements on any web page. For example, it would block the ad you see on our forum, and you would never have known it was there. It also gives you a better experience by increasing page load times and any lag from excess ads on a page.

I have no problem with ads if it helps you pay for the site!
I use many forums/fora, most of which use adverts and which I seem to be barely aware of, I seem to have learnt to tune them out!
I wouldn't be too keen on paying for access, not at the moment anyway as we're skint!

I thought I hadn't seen the ads before, but if they help pay for the site, then fine.

Everytime we get a click on them, we get a contribution from the advertisers.
Glad they aren't too much of a nuisance, and like i said above, if you really dislike them you can use Adblock Plus.

It's good to see the forum now has a favicon - it helps me not to lose it in my tabs
