Automatic parking brake

Does anyone know of a way of not having the automatic parking brake being applied when switching the engine off? 

I know that’s a strange question but when I park our MK3 Belingo flare 2019 in the garage for any length of time I don’t want the parking brake on as the brake starts to stick to the drum. 

All my other cars I just simply left the handbrake off but my Belingo insists on having it applied as soon as the engine is switched off.

Oh I found this now … only problem is I can’t access any menus as the buttons surrounding the radio are unresponsive. Dealer said it was covered by the three year Citroen warranty and ordered the part but no idea when the replacement will arrive , if ever ?! Are these buttons the only way of accessing the settings ?

There should be electric parking brake section in the handbook.

Free-wheeling
In certain situations, you must allow the vehicle
to free-wheel (while being towed, on a rolling
road, in an automatic car wash, or being
transported by rail or sea freight, etc.). 7
The procedure varies according to the type of
gearbox and parking brake.
With a manual gearbox and
electric parking brake
With a manual gearbox
Release procedure
► With the engine running and while depressing
the brake pedal, move the gear selector to the
neutral position.
► While depressing the brake pedal, switch off
the ignition.
► Release the brake pedal, then switch on the
ignition again.
► While depressing the brake pedal, press the
control lever to release the parking brake.
► Release the brake pedal, then switch off the
ignition.
Reverting to normal operation
► While depressing the brake pedal, start the
engine.

I am sure that on my K9, if I press down footbrake, then stop/start button, I can release the handbrake manually by moving the switch while keeping the brake pressed.
