Fakra refers to the antenna connector type. Quadlock is the type of the main harness on that radio. They are common across many European vehicles.

You need a quadlock to iso adaptor, and a Fakra to standard aerial adaptor in order to fit a standard aftermarket stereo. Get a fully wired quadlock to iso as some are short of some wires needed on the Berlingos. (Cheap ones link the main permanent lives to the switched live input, so the stereo won't go off with the engine. You want those separate)

Ok. I've never seen a stereo in modern times that wasn't ISO. That is 2 x 8 way plugs, one black one brown.
This is what I'm on about. Didn't happen to look like this by any chance?

Surely the Android unit comes with ISO cabling..
Gone are the days of 'cut and shut' wires behind the dash.. Although, I remember wiring up a new stereo in a mates car, while we were out cruising on a Friday night.. haha, those were the days

Proper stereos come as ISO. Only the cheapest Chinese junk sets have wire ends you have to connect.

I have Android head units in all of my cars, but, I usually splash out on the $500-700 AUD versions with fast boot, 8GB RAM, Qualcomm SoC etc.. the vehicle specific radios I have purchased all come with the correct wiring in the box (Quadlock for BMW etc) or at the very least, ISO connectors.
I am about to try and put a stereo in my M49... I wonder how that is going to go.. I have no idea what connector is on my factory tape deck, or if an adaptor is still available. I can't wait to connect things so that the 'eco live' is no longer keeping the radio on for a minute or so after I get out of the car.
