what size turbo manifold studs?
#1
Hi Gents, just wondered if anyone knows the specification for the studs that bolt the turbo to the manifold?
I plan to replace my turbo (1.6hdi) over the christmas break, and I know I will have to cut off at least one of the studs as the nut has been rounded off.
If anyone knows the size/thread pitch/length I would really appreciate it so I can order some when I order the turbo.

Cheers,
Pete

From memory... the nuts holding the turbo to the manifold are a strange size a/f
According to what I found on Service Box they are M8X1.25 but the nut is 12mm a/f as opposed to the normal 13mm a/f. Maybe that's why it has been rounded off and a 12mm spanner may still work?
I think I used BluTack in the socket to hold the nuts in place while getting them on & off under the turbo.

The stud part number is 0376-41

The nut is 6935-a5

The above is for a 1.6HDi 92 (DV6ATED4)
