Do other drivers on the road a favour and leave the standard headlights alone.

Which ever LED's you fit will blind oncoming drivers, factory fitted LED lights on all makes of vehicle do this.

I'm not sure if there are any which are legal to fit on a UK reg vehicle. Its likely that the eBay/Aliexpress bulbs are illegal, check the tech specs carefully.

No legal route to doing this, the projector lamps in bulb units are completely different in order to spread softer light IIRC.

I just changed my bulbs to +150%, possibly +200% ones, not the same thing but a huge difference over standard bulbs

Which bulbs did you get? Definitely need something better than stock. The Mrs BMWs LEDs are amazing in comparison

I bought some these for my b9 not blinding but ok and mounting plate removes to fit first then lamp mounts in that like a bc lamp making fitting easy only about 10 pair.

They're not road legal.

@Cooper just fit nightbreaker 200% bulbs in H4 format.

My wife has been having to use the Berlingo at night and is finding the headlights poor, particularly in the country roads.

Are the Osram Night Breakers still the preferred upgrade?  And, if so, is the wiring up to taking the extra current being drawn?

If so, these seem a good price unless anyone knows a better source?

Many thanks

Yes, and yes. The wattage is the same (has to be or they would not be legal) but the light output is higher.

Not bad price, I paid £19.99 for the +200% ones. Also, get an MOT garage (or Kiwk-s**t) to check and adjust the beam alignment, could be off. Costs £15.
